Surface coatings – DLRR155

Surface coatings

As we offer full manufacturing cycle of a part or construction production we use final surface treatment processes: mechanical cleaning, high pressure water washing, shotblasting, priming, wet painting and galvanic coatings.

Surface treatment and painting

Mechanical cleaning of metal construction

Conditioning of surfaces with abrasive materials

High pressure water washing

Through the right combination of pressure and flow rate, dirt is removed quickly and easily

Shot blasting

Removes mill scale, improves adhesion

We are equipped with a shotblasting large-size camera L – 21m, W –4,5m, H – 4m

Steel shot or grit is used for blasting according to the required roughness

Most common fraction shot is 0,8-1,7mm

Priming and painting

Primer is applied as foundation before painting to reinforce the surface and improve adhesion

Painting is performed in a large size camera L – 40 m, W – 4m, H – 5m
2-component, alkyd and acrylic water base paints can be used

We offer painting with highpreassure and lower-preassure painting equipment, as well as electrostatic painting

Galvanic coating

Chrome plating (Chrome plating is applied on steel and cast iron)

Application of hard wear-resistant and decorative (shiny) chromium coatings on steel, cast iron and copper-based alloys

Restoring the dimensions of worn parts.

High quality bright nickel-plating 2-layered, with a sub-layer of copper

Decorative and protectivedecorative coating

Coating thickness 10-30 μm for parts from steel and copper alloys

Galvanizing (or Zinc coating) a protective coating, that can be applied to threaded parts, machine parts, etc.

Application of a protective zinc coating on steel parts, welded assemblies, decorative products with a layer of thickness up to 30 microns

Tinning

Used for giving a detail anti-friction and solderability properties, corrosion protection, sealing of threaded connections

Coating thickness – 10-20 μm

Copper bright plating

It is used as a decorative coating and as an intermediate layer when nickel plating

Phosphate chemical coating

Phosphate coating is used for the purpose of pretreatment prior to coating or painting, increasing corrosion protection and improving friction properties of sliding components

The dimensions of treated parts:
max L = 1400 mm, S = 500 mm, F = 700 mm
